Apply for "My Ride" ScholarshipThe NWAHJA Education Scholarship supports riders pursuing continuing education at any accredited college or university. Beginning this year, the scholarship is a set $1,500 award offered annually — making it a guaranteed and consistent opportunity for our riders.
We've also expanded eligibility for the scholarship. Applicants are no longer limited to riding in the Equitation class only — riders who have competed in any Hunter, Jumper, or Equitation division at least three times during the show year are now eligible to apply.
Please note changes: Requirements reduced to three shows (previously four). Now open to riders enrolled in any accredited college or university, and open to riders in any division.
The top three applications will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee in early January 2026, judged on equine knowledge, personality, and communication skills. The winner will be announced at the 2025 NWAHJA Awards Banquet. If no qualified applicants are received, the scholarship will roll over to the following year.
